OCD: Oh! See? Dementia!

As I hit the halfway mark on my way to work I had to pull off the road to ponder a few grating questions.

Did I unplug the straightener? Did I turn off the stove?  Did I lock the front door?  Is Shasta in the house? Is a cat locked in a room?

I have never had any signs of OCD before.  Where is this coming from?

Keyword, dementia?!  Oh crap!  Not good.
