Kat’s Cute Cut
Remember my plea to bring back the wedge? Well, leave it to my obedient child to oblige!
Kat IM’d me this morning (downstairs to upstairs – what has come of us?!) with a link to a haircut she was considering. I immediately encouraged her, thinking the cut would look adorable on her. Within an few minutes she’d made an appointment for 4:00 this afternoon! Gutsy kid!
And she even asked me to go with her. Sweet kid!
First we took some “before” pictures:
The first thing Kat did when we arrived at Gene Juarez was donate her hair to Locks of Love.
Then there was some snipping…
and measuring…
and some drying…
and some styling…
And some checkin’ it out…
And voila!
I love the wedge – of course!
Being girly girls and aspiring photographers, we of course came home and gathered some friends for a photo shoot:
I think it’s the perfect cut for Kat and it really showcases her personality perfectly! Don’t you?

Oh, it's adorable! It suits her perfectly!
That is a gorgeous cut and she looks beautiful!!
It's very cute. It looks energetic and sophisticated at the same time!
that is a gorgeous hairstyle - it really really suits her!! And how brave was she to lop all that hair off!!! ;-)
My 6 year old cut her hair into the same cut earlier this summer, after never having cut her hair more than a few inches. Her hair is extremely thick and used to be the sorce of many of her compliments. For a long time she wouldn't hear of even trimming her "beautiful blonde hair". Then one day she decided she wanted to do "Locks of Love" (a little friend of hers had done it a few months earlier and my daughter had CRIED about her cutting her hair!!!) and after giving it a few days to really think it over (and for mommy and daddy to get used to the idea), she cut it and donated it.
Definitely a cute cut!!!! Then again, your daughter is so pretty she could carry off any cut, if you asked me! Hurray for her and her new look!
