Earth, sky and water (and The Gorge) – Washington State style

We headed back to Seattle from Idaho today.

We paid a visit to the Gorge Amphitheater when it was completely deserted! Amazing! If you pull back just slightly from the picture above, you get this:

Can you imagine going to a concert here, at sunset on a beautiful summer day? The kids have been to plenty of rock concerts here, but Tom and I never have. We definitely plan to come back for a concert, but I think we’ll stay here, at a vineyard inn…

    E. Washington is amazing and so are your photos. I love the Gorge area, but don't want to go to a concert there. Why? It's too far to drive plus I don't like huge crowds.

    Your pictures are amazing! I've never been to the Gorge before. Like you, it would be great to stay at an inn (some place AWAY from the crowds). Not sure who I'd want to see there, though. (We're going to a Snow Patrol concert in October at the Paramount — can't wait!)
