The occasion that brings us (Tom,Elisabeth and me) to the Bay Area -- Kristin’s memorial -- will be sad for sure. But I’m looking forward to some much-needed time off and a chance to visit with beloved family and friends.
I hope to blog daily – probably primarily with photos, but hopefully also with something of some substance to say… because it’s been a while since I’ve done that.
I’ve been so focused on completing two very challenging projects (turned them both in today, to client rave reviews… phew!) that I’ve been void of a single creative or substantive thought lately. But hopefully I’ll be able to rejuvenate a bit in the next five days.
(I wish I could claim credit for the photo, but I can’t – and I don’t even know who to give credit to, as I found it on Google Images. There’s reason enough, I guess, to watermark your great photos!)
Give those grandkids of ours a hug while you are down there pls ;-)

I'm glad you get to go to the memorial service!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a good break
The photo is awesome.......the photographer does deserve to be acknowledged.......pity it is of unknown origin.
ReplyDeleteHave yourself a nice time. Bittersweet, but enjoy the "sweet." Aside from Oregon, the Bay area is the ONLY other place in the country I could imagine living (although I don't see that ever happening). Been there, though! (Loved Sausalito!)
ReplyDeleteI was actually up in your neck of the woods today (well, Bothell) and I thought about you! Meeting WILL happen!
