Super Bowl, Puppy Bowl and Laundry Basket

I'm sorry, America, but I think the Puppy Bowl is far more entertaining than the Super Bowl.  I mean, really -- how can you resist this?! 

Sure the whole food and beer thing thing is fun...

 

And the 3-D glasses bit was a hoot for the entire family (especially because Tom designed the backgrounds of the Monsters vs Aliens computer game!):

And sure, there are some cute players... (doesn't he look almost as good as, and a bit like, Tom?!)

But a few cute players, appetizers, funny glasses, and interesting plays just don't compare to the intrigue and entertainment of the puppy bowl (which Kat and I -- and Shasta -- would change the channel to every time the guys left the room)!

 

Is anyone else with me on this one?

(And yes, all this from a former high school cheerleader...

Go ahead, call me a traitor.  I never really got football anyway; I just liked the football players and the jumping around and wearing that uniform!)

In other container news...

I'm up and around much more these days, though after about an hour my foot is six shades of purple and puffed up inside my cast, causing some major squeezing.  But still, I've found a way to separate the laundry...

...get a load going...

... and even fold laundry and put it away!

And thanks to my Roll-a-Bout, I can even make my way around the kitchen!

So what a Sunday full of excitement, eh?  Football, puppies and laundry, oh my!
