Today's snow confused our cats as well. They're usually indoor-only; sometimes we let them out and supervise. With the sun streaming in the window, they were howling at the door, only to be shocked at the blast of cold air when the door was obligingly opened. 3 cats ventured outside only to run back inside immediately.
