Sunday Meme

For some reason, I've been doing memes mostly on Sundays, and in this family if you've done something more than once and enjoyed it, it's officially considered a tradition. So, with no further ado...

Who would you want to be tied to for 24 hours? No one!

Who do you blame for your mood today? Blame? Actually, it's a pretty decent mood. I'll thank Peter and Danelle for being around a lot this weekend and Tom for being doting so sweetly on his new love.

Have you ever seen a dead body? Yes. My mother's.

What should we do w/ stupid people? Educate and inspire them.

How long do you think you will live? In all my years, I have never, until now, felt all my years. I don't feel well physically. My doc says it's stress related. At this pace, I don't think I'd live past 70. Gotta learn to disconnect and do some self care!

What was the first thing you did this morning? Let Bailey outside.

The color of carpet in your bedroom? Beige. And in need of replacement.

Last person you went out to dinner with? Tom, Peter and Danelle, last night. On Friday night, I took Aleks out for a mom/son dinner.

Are you spoiled? I don't think so. Am I? Yeah, maybe I am just a tad bit spoiled.

Do you drink lots of water? Not enough, for sure!

What toothpaste do you use? Whatever was at Costco last week. Crest, I think.

How do you vent your anger? I write and sometimes, if I'm angry and hurt and frustrated (they often come together), I cry.

The last compliment you received? One of my co-workers told another co-worker (who lives/works in India and who I IM and e-mail with regularly, but have never met) that I'm "the nicest person on the face of the earth." I thought that was just such an incredibly NICE thing to say!

What are you doing this weekend? It's Sunday evening and the weekend is just about over, dammit! Well, we bought a car yesterday! Today I bought an office chair and assembled it, did laundry, made dinner, and tidied the house. And Tom and Peter made beer, an amber ale that will be ready to drink in about 3 weeks.

When was the last time you threw up? When I had food poisoning a few years ago. That was miserable!

What theme does your room have? Theme?? Ha!

When was the last time you were at a party? Hmmmm 4th of July? Unless you count the wake for our dear family friend, Beatte, in March. So many long-time family friends were there that, in spite of the sad occasion it did feel like a party.

Are you a mama's child or a daddy's child? I was a daddy's girl till Mom died in 2004. Now things feel different and I feel more like Dad's buddy than Daddy's girl.

Would you ever join the military? Never.

The last website you visited? Craigslist.

Who was the last person you took a picture with? Susan, my neighbor and blogging buddy!

Last person you went to the movies with? Tom. We saw Leatherheads.

What did you do/will you do for your birthday this year? Do I have to have another one?! No idea what I'll do. Ask my family! (Wink!)

Number of layers on your bed? One! We have European bedding!

Is anything alive in your room? Of course! People, animals, plants... OK, nix the plants. I can't seem to keep potted plants alive for more than a few days!

What are you looking forward to right now? Lunch with a former co-worker tomorrow.
